The FTP server is part of IIS, and has a different view of the file system. I know that the server needs to explicitly map the folder for you to see it, but don't honestly remember the details, I'm afraid. How can I setup ftp server in Vista Home Premium?
My daugher is working with someone's Vista machine and can't get it to FTP any files. She even tried Ipswitch to no avail. Perhaps it's the firewall, but the firewall appears to have just an on-off switch and the machine owner will not let her turn it off. I have no experience with Vista at all.
